FenceBanner is a registered business name operated by CARROLL, CHRISTIAN (Individual / sole trader), ABN 58 735 491 307. FenceBanner (“we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you use our website, register a fence, enquire about advertising, or deal with us directly.

Australian privacy law does not apply to every small business in the same way. We nevertheless aim to handle personal information consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles and good privacy practice.

1. What we collect

If you register a fence

• Name and contact details
• Property address and street type
• Fence and street-frontage photos you provide or that are taken during assessment/installation
• Payment details needed to pay you if you become a host

If you enquire about advertising

• Name and business name
• Target suburbs, campaign requirements and budget information
• Artwork or brand materials you supply
• Billing details if you become an advertiser

2. Why we collect it

We use personal information to assess fence suitability, respond to enquiries, manage host and advertiser relationships, arrange installation and maintenance, process payments, keep business records, improve our service, and meet legal or safety requirements.

3. What advertisers can see

When discussing possible locations with advertisers, we may share a street and suburb or an approximate location so the advertiser can assess the area. We do not intend to provide a host's name or house number to a prospective advertiser before an arrangement requires it.

4. Who we may disclose information to

We may disclose information to service providers we use to operate Fence Banner, such as hosting, database, email, payment, printing, installation, accounting and professional advisers, where reasonably necessary. We do not sell personal contact details.

5. Storage and security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. No internet service is completely risk-free, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Retention

We keep information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose it was collected, our agreements, record-keeping requirements, dispute management and applicable law. We may retain de-identified information for analysis.

7. Access, correction and deletion
